Frustrated

I haven't exercised since Friday! I've had parties and cleaning and taking care of my parents house and errands and princess had a stomach bug.....

EXCUSES!!!

No more. Today I.will.run. Period.

When?

It's date night, I have to go to the grocery store, I need to start gathering all the stuff to take to Once Upon A Child.

I don't care if it's only five minutes. I'm doing it. I'm determined to do SOMETHING!
Especially since my eating habits haven't been great the past few days either.

I need to be more organized. I think I'm going to make a dollar store run soon to grab some baskets and stuff to organize with.

How's your week going?

Goals for week of July 15

First let me start by telling you how I did on last weeks goals

Fitness:

1) to finish week 3 of C25K and start week 4

2) to do muscle building exercises 2x this week ( squats, planks, weight lifting etc..)

3) to do 10 min on stationary bike on muscle building days

Personal:

1) to get up before 5am at least 3x's (I am awful at getting up early...so if I can do it 3x I am going to be super excited!! )

2) to get dressed and do makeup by 9 everyday

Family:

1) to spend 30-45 non interrupted minutes with each kid every day. (we are doing so much all day that I don't getting to spend much one on one time with each kid)

2) to spend a date night with my hubby completely focused in him

Household:

1) to finish all laundry in house

2) to finish getting Princess' room back together

Definitely going to be trying again on some of those!
I'm making progress on the laundry but it takes a LONG time when you are going through all of it for giveaways well.

Their rooms are still a work in progress and probably will be for at least another week.

And now for this weeks goals... Even though the week is half over already.

Fitness:
1) to finish week 4 of C25K

2) do 2 days of P90X or some other muscle building exercise

Personal:
1) wake up between 430 and 530 ONCE lol

2) do bible study 3 times

3) pick a new fun book to read

4) up, dressed, and make up done by 10 (fixed the time because I ten to work out at womderboy's fist nap around 830/9 so this gives me time to do that and get clean!)

Family:
1) go out on a date with princess

2) do something extra special for hubby

Household:
1) continue working on laundry

2) continue working in kids rooms

I think I can handle these ;-) what are your goals for the week?

Postpartum= tired and crazy

So the last week has been so CRAZY! I really hate postpartum! I love my baby boy but come on already hormones! Get back to normal!

I was crazy, and when momma is crazy EVERYBODY is crazy. So it was a stressful week.

This week is going better though. Especially today. Making sure I take my vitamins and my fish oil is definitely helping. Of course the exercising is too.
I'm really enjoying the C25K and am really noticing some progress!

I need to update my goals and show you what I did and post this weeks goals. I'll try to do that by tomorrow.

I'm doing a 5K!

I'm so excited about doing my FIRST 5K! It's called The Color Run!

The Color Run isn't a typical 5K. It isn't timed at all. Best of all, by the end your a neon rainbow mess!

I Have started training and I am on week 3 of the C25K (couch to 5k) program.

I love running. I truly do. You would never know by looking at me though.

Somehow I got very VERY far away from it...well I know how. That's a story for another day though.

But now I'm back into it and I'm loving it! I love feeling the burn, sweating, breathing hard, working towards something. Knowing I'm accomplishing something.

Most of all I love that I'm NOT doing this to lose weight. I'm doing this because it's something I enjoy. The 5K is a new and exciting challenge, and I'm up for it!

I'm going start posting about my journey to 5k and a healthier life right here. I will also post a challenge that either I or someone in the fitness world comes up with.

My best friend is a BeachBody Coach (you can like her FB page here) and is an amazing woman who encourages me and inspires me to be a better healthier me. She is WAY more fit than I am and sometimes that intimidates me but I'm learning to just use her as support :-) I also have my Aunt and my Cousin checking in with me weekly to see how we 3 are doing. Soon I'm going to make my sister join us (you know how that goes, right?!)

Anyways...back to the whole challenge thing. This week it comes from Jillian Michaels's FB page. "try to leave some food on your plate, do not clear it."
Wow...this one will be hard for me, I feel like I'm wasting food. This is something that I never tell my children, so why do I clean my plate when I know I shouldn't?!

Please join us! Do you have any tips in training for a 5k? What about some awesome healthy recipes?
